ZEvent Bot Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 August 2026

Welcome, and thank you for using ZEvent Bot. These Terms govern access to and use of our Discord bot. By adding, configuring, or using the Bot, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose and acceptance

These Terms apply to the ZEvent Bot website and Discord bot, whether the application is installed on your account or on a server. If you act on behalf of a Discord server, you confirm that you have the authority required to add and configure the Bot there.

2. Service provided

ZEvent Bot lets people view live streams, donation goals, the official and Team G-Doc calendars, and streamer schedules. On a configured server, it can send notifications about live-stream starts and title or game changes, and synchronise calendars with scheduled Discord events. The service uses Discord application commands and HTTP interactions hosted on Cloudflare.

This is an independent, unofficial project. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or administered by ZEvent, Team G-Doc, Twitch, Discord, or Cloudflare. All referenced names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

3. Access requirements

3.1 Age and Discord rules

You must meet Discord’s minimum age requirement and comply with its other terms in your country.

3.2 User installation

An installation on your account provides access to consultation commands in the contexts allowed by Discord. It cannot configure a server. The Bot may send one welcome DM after installation and live alerts only after your explicit selection. You can pause them at any time with /notifications pause or remove the application in Discord.

3.3 Server administration

Some configuration commands require the Discord “Manage Server” permission. You are responsible for the selected channel, subscriptions, and permissions granted to the Bot.

3.4 Internal administration panel

The administration panel is restricted to the owner and members of the official server who hold an explicitly authorised role. Testing and operational actions must remain necessary to run the service. Access may be revoked at any time through the Discord role or service configuration.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service for illegal, fraudulent, or malicious purposes;
  • bypass its protections, disrupt its infrastructure, or deliberately generate an excessive volume of commands or notifications;
  • use the service to harass anyone, send unwanted content, or breach Discord’s rules;
  • present the project as an official ZEvent or Team G-Doc service.

We may limit or suspend a server or user installation in the event of abuse, a security risk, a legal requirement, or a breach of these Terms.

5. External sources and availability

Commands and alerts depend on Discord and external data, particularly the official ZEvent website, Team G-Doc, and Twitch. This information may be incomplete, corrected, delayed, or unavailable. A notification may therefore arrive late, be duplicated, or not be sent. Check important information with its original source.

The service may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued, including for maintenance, security, API changes, or capacity constraints. We endeavour to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

6. Liability

The service is provided free of charge and as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of data, missed opportunities, or decisions made solely on the basis of an alert. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or mandatory consumer rights.

7. Personal data

Data processing related to the website and Bot is described in the Privacy Policy. Removing subscriptions and then the Bot from a server prevents new notifications. Removing the application from your Discord Authorised Apps disables personal use and starts the delayed deletion of data associated with that installation. To request deletion of remaining data, contact contact@zevent.app.

8. Intellectual property

Using the service grants no rights to trademarks, logos, content, or data owned by ZEvent, Team G-Doc, or any other third party.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service or the law. The date at the top of this page identifies the applicable version. These Terms are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory, more protective provisions that apply in your country. Before starting a dispute, contact contact@zevent.app so that we can seek an amicable solution.
